Old town Tallin is a beatuful place.
The hotel is very central just metres away from the old town market square.
Top Tip
Take your walking shoes! You will need them for the cobbled streets. You will be able to cover the pretty old town in a day or two easily.
Restaurants are in abundance. Scout around - look in the back streets, these are the best.

Great location and facilities. Hotel had bothered to check when flights were arriving so the room was instantly ready. Am considering booking again very soon

strongly recommend that if you wish to stay for more than three days, consider booking a day trip to Helsinki which is 90 minutes on the ferry. Old town Tallinn is a beautiful place but is very very small - took just a day and a half to see everywhere at a slow pace.

This is a very old building situated 50 yards from the main square in the old town. The only drawback is the lack of a lift in the hotel, so it is not really suitable for those who have difficulty in using stairs. Apart from this, you cannot fault the hotel in any aspect.

Oliver's Restaurant is first class and reasonably priced. For teas coffees and cakes to die for, Chocolatiere de Pierre is the place to go.
Be prepared for unusual combinations of food making up dishes. Some sound as if they would be pretty horrible, but in reality they work well together.
The Panoptikon (Wax Museum) is quite disappointing and not worth the entrance fee. Tallin City Theatre is worth visiting to see the 6 performance areas fitted into a row of medieval houses in Lei street. The Russian Orthodox Church in the old town (not the one by the castle) is well worth visiting. Ladies should wear a headscarf when visiting this church.
Wear comfortable shoes as all the streets are cobbled. Tallinn can be comfortably covered in 2 or 3 days.
