The hotel is located just a few minutes walk from the old town standing just off one of Tallinns busiest streets. The sea port is a two minute drive and the airport just ten minutes away.

The Metropole Hotel is housed in a modern, concrete and glass, 7-storey building. The medium sized lobby has a waterfall in the centre and features an atrium, which lets in plenty of natural light. There is also a small sitting area in front of the long marble reception desk. The medium sized guest rooms are decorated in a fairly basic style. Their colour schemes are centred around different combinations of beige, rose, blue and green. An abundant breakfast and lunch buffet, as well as a versatile supper menu, is served in the hotel's superb 80-seat a la carte restaurant.
