The St Olav Hotel is housed in a 4-storey traditional building with a renovated, salmon-toned façade. The interior uses natural stone, patterned textiles and forgings to retain a historical ambience. The medium sized lobby offers a limited seating area. Also medium sized, the 112 guestrooms are decorated in a contemporary Scandinavian style, using lots of natural woods. Some of the guestrooms offer views of the hotel's private courtyard and gardens. Of the hotel’s two restaurants, the “Old Castle” serves Russian dishes, while “Red and Black” is a basement grill serving European dishes. There’s also a Continental buffet breakfast available every morning.
